Reproductive Grief Screening and Support Services in a Private Practice

The doctoral project aimed to look at reproductive grief screening and support services within a private practice in Los Angeles County. While there are no current clinical practice guidelines or validated screening tools specifically for reproductive grief, the project aimed to capture a large percentage of the patient population who have experienced some form of reproductive loss within their lifespan through screening, evaluate how those losses were handled at the time the loss was experienced in the patients perspective, take those lived experiences in formulating ways to improve experiences for those in the future who may experience a loss, and find ways the practice could improve support services offered based on screening results and patient preferences.

The Worn-Out Midwife: Cultivating Resilience and Self-Care in Modern Midwifery Practice

Viewers will be provided with practical tools and actionable steps to not only recognize and mitigate burnout in their own lives but also to advocate for systemic changes that support long-term professional well-being.
